Covering 70,000 sqM, this livestock exchange transfers 1346 head of cattle every week. To help manage the vast amount of animal excrement MBR was asked to design and build a large sequencing batch reactor which was installed after intermittent aerated facultative lagoons.

Our plant also featured a selector tank for increased de-nitrification. Settled effluent is then filtered with a glass media filter and dosed with liquid chlorine before being discharged to an end-of-train irrigation dam.
